So we had our toy sale last week, we opened at midnight and had a couple of hundred people flood in through the doors the second they opened. It was insane, i worked 2 12 hour shifts in 2 days and by the end of it i was glad for a sleep... so i slept through Saturday but had to work again on Sunday.
So if you've been wondering where I've been of late that's where.

Also i'm moving out very soon. We're supposed to be out of here in a month, so i have a lot of packing and stuff to do.

I bought a new costume the other day, it's a Lieutenant Commander Jadzier Dax costume from Star Trek. I need to adjust it a bit to fit as the legs are waaaaaay too long but hopefully once i get it fixed up we'll be able to do some Star Trek stock.

Also i have on layby at work 2 most awesome additions to my stocking endeavours. Firstly as i think i have mentioned before i have a new Fuji camera on layby, one that won't cost me $29 in batteries every time they run out, and one that i hope will take better photo's at night. It has 10mp and 10x optical zoom, and i cant wait to get it off layby and go photoing around town. Secondly i have a FX Lightsaber on layby, a life size replica of Obi Wan Kenobi's Lightsaber from Star Wars. I'm going to buy a star wars costume later on to go with it so then we can do all kinda of Sci-fi inspired stocks. It's so cool though, it has a metal hilt. (Real Metal!) and makes realistic sounds when you move it, or touch it to objects. It's soooo cool.

Also i finally got in touch with another of our stock models from Photo day and got permission to post up her pics, so you all can look forwards to another model floating around SilkenWebs. Jess, Sam's sister has agreed to let me display her photo's here for stock.

Not much to report here, i'm working on something for =liam-stock's Black Magic contest. I'm not sure how it'll turn out or if i'll even finish it in time.. but i guess we'll see.

I have a few other idea's in the works, but nothing really done yet. i'm mid way through a new sculpture attempt. =Indigo-Ocean's tutorial inspired me, but i haven't found time to finish it yet.
